UML to conclude its district, municipality-level committees’ convention



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has decided to conduct convention of its all district and municipality-level committees within 12 February 2024.

The UML Organization Department took the decision in this regard, said Department Secretary Madhav Prasad Dhungel. The party has recently concluded its convention of all seven province committee.

It has also directed all its district and local-level committees to make an action plan in order to hold their conventions within coming February 12, he added.

Similarly, the UML also decided to organize province and district-level convention of its people’s organizations within 12 April 2024 as to launch party membership renew campaign on coming February.

Dhungel shared that the membership shifting task, which has been put on hold since the beginning of the current fiscal year, would also be opened.

Likewise, a decision was taken to return those, who faced party’s action due to various reasons, to party’s work on condition of making self-criticism in writing.
