Taking to the media here today, the former Minister said such a campaign should be capable of restoring the confidence of the business community and developing Nepal as a destination for investment.

He advised the government to come up with flexible policies to attract investment from home and outside the country.

“It is essential to promote an investment atmosphere in the country escalate the scope and increase opportunities for income generation within the community. This will make the economy vibrant,” he said.

The country’s export rate is getting shrunken while it simultaneously experiences a rising dependence on imports. Lack of revenue mobilization as per the expectations has led to a precarious expenditure structure, suggesting a prompt intervention, according to Acharya.
