DANG: Rabi Lamichhane, the Chairman of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has proclaimed that corrupt leaders and parties will either be eradicated in the upcoming general elections or his party, RSP, will diminish into obscurity.

Speaking at a program in Dang on Saturday, Lamichhane attributed his entry into politics to the public’s disillusionment with the major political parties and their overwhelming support for him.

He emphasized, “Our commitment is to serve the people, and corrupt parties will find it impossible to maintain their influence.”

Lamichhane called upon the major political parties to prioritize the welfare of the populace, warning them that their security deposits may be forfeited in the forthcoming elections unless they do so.

Expressing frustration, Chairman Lamichhane criticized the current government for merely skimming through corruption allegations without thoroughly investigating them.

He expressed indignation that parties claiming to work for the people were, in reality, preoccupied with disparaging the RSP and shielding their own misdeeds.

He implored them to focus on addressing the concerns of the people instead of being consumed by partisan interests.
