KATHMANDU: A Special Court in Kathmandu has found Gopal Bahadur Khadka, the then-executive director of Nepal Oil Corporation, guilty of illegal acquisition.

The division bench comprising Special Court President Shrikant Poudel, members Shaligram Koirala and Dr. Khushi Prasad Tharu found Khadka guilty and sentenced him to a fine of Rs 91.09 million and imprisonment for one year and three months.

Dipendranath Yogi, the spokesperson of the special court, informed that a fine of 91.09 million rupees and a sentence of one year and three months imprisonment had been pronounced.
