KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of seven new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Tuesday.
Out of the confirmed cases, six were detected through the RT-PCR method and one through Antigen method.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 617 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
Out of them, 283 were tested through RT-PCR method and 334 through Antigen method.
Currently, there are 28 active cases in the country as six infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
No coronavirus related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll in the country has been 12,031 to date.
