NC holding Central Work Execution Committee meeting today

To finalize the names of ministers



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) is holding its Central Working Committee meeting today to discuss participation in the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda-led cabinet.

The meeting to be held at the party’s central office, Sanepa, at 11:00 am, will finalize the names of the ministers to be sent to the Dahal-led cabinet, said Krishna Prasad Paudel, Chief Secretary of the NC central office.

Earlier, the meeting called for Tuesday was postponed.

Meanwhile, a meeting of the ruling coalition held at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Wednesday agreed to expand the cabinet by today evening.

According to sources, Nepali Congress will get 8 ministries, the Maoist Center 5, JSP and Unified Socialist Party 2 each and other parties will get one ministry each.
