KATHMANDU: The government has granted permission to cut 4,300 trees for the construction of the Fast Track, which connects the capital city Kathmandu to the Tarai region.

The information was revealed by the spokesperson of the government and Minister for Information and Communications, Rekha Sharma, during the cabinet meeting held on Friday at Singha Durbar.
