RSP nominates all its lawmakers as central committee members

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has decided to designate all its parliament members as central committee members, as per the decision made during a recent central committee meeting.

This strategic move is part of the party’s efforts to fortify its structure and bolster internal cohesion. The decision was formalized during the ongoing central committee meeting in Jaleshwor, Mahottari, which commenced on Monday.

In a notable development, there are indications that Dr. Swarnim Wagle, a member of the House of Representatives (HoR), may be appointed as the vice-chairman of the party, despite calls for female representation in the post.
