KATHMANDU: Visiting United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Defense, Purna Bahadur Khadka, held talks at Singha Durbar on Sunday.
Prior to this, Defense secretary Kiran Raj Sharma welcomed the UN Secretary-General to the Ministry.
At Singha Durbar, the UN Secretary-General is scheduled to call on Prime Minister Pusha Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba and CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli.
Similarly, he will pay a courtesy call on President Ram Chandra Paudel today itself.
He arrived in Kathmandu today on a four-day official trip to Nepal today.
