Maoist Center’s transformation prerequisite for country’s progress: PM Dahal

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Chairman of Maoist Center, Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, emphasized that a fundamental transformation within the Maoist Center is essential to pave the way for broader national development.

Speaking at a training program in Kathmandu on Tuesday, Prime Minister Dahal asserted that the prerequisite for the country’s transformation lies in the evolution of the Maoist Center party itself.

“We have launched a resolute campaign to drive the transformation of our nation. We are committed to advancing this endeavor with even greater intensity,” Prime Minister Dahal said.

“For this purpose, the transformation of the Maoist party stands as an imperative. The collaborative efforts of the Maoist movement with the people will ignite this transformative process,” he added.

He also highlighted the progress made in addressing issues such as the fake Bhutanese refugee case, gold smuggling case, and other smuggling networks.

He underlined that these initiatives are merely the beginning and pledged a heightened drive against corruption.

“Despite facing encirclement and a barrage of negative reports, our determination remains unshaken. We are steadfast in our resolve to push forward,” Prime Minister Dahal affirmed.
