Bakra Eid will strengthen national unity: Chair Miyan

KATHMANDU: President of the Muslim Commission Samim Miyan Ansari has expressed the belief that Eid-ul-Azha (Bakra Eid) will strengthen national unity, mutual friendship and religious tolerance in the country.

In a message of best wishes today on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha (Bakra Eid), a great festival of Muslims, he wished that the festival inspires all to move forward on the path of development and realize the vision of ‘prosperous Nepal and happy Nepali’.

Eid-ul-Azha is celebrated for three days praying for mutual happiness, harmony and goodwill while abandoning anger, rage and malice.

People wake up early in the morning and take a bath to purify themselves and go to an open place, Idgah or mosque to read the Eid-ul-Azha prayers.
