Revenue collection to hit only 11.79 trillion in FY 2022/23

KATHMANDU: Finance Minister Dr. Prakash Sharan Mahat announced the release of the budget for the fiscal year 2023/24, stating that revenue collection for the current financial year is projected to reach 11 trillion 79 billion 8.4 million rupees.

However, this amount falls short of the set target by 16 percent, representing a decrease of 5.9 percent compared to the previous fiscal year.
