Bindabasini Kansakar swearing in as RSP lawmaker

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party leader Bindabasini Kansakar, who was made a lawmaker after the party suspended then-lawmaker Dhaka Kumar Shrestha from the post, is scheduled to swear in as a lawmaker on Monday.

She will be administered the oath by Speaker Devraj Ghimire at 3 o’clock.

Shrestha was recalled by the party after he was involved in an audio scandal in which he allegedly demanded Rs 20 million from medical goon Durga Prasai.

Although the Election Commission gave her a certificate, she was not able to take the oath due to the order of the Supreme Court.
