MAKWANPUR: A motorbike knocked down a pedestrian in Bagmati Rural Municiplaity-8 Sattale Rajbas Bridge in Makwanpur this morning.
The motorbike (Ba 25 Pa 1908) en route to Hetauda from Faparbari knocked down Dil Bahadur Syangtan, 50, of Bagmati-8, Khajuridmar, informed DSP at District Police Office, Makawanpur, Tek Bahadur Karki.
Critically injured Syangtan was pronounced dead in course of the treatment at Hetauda Hospital.
The motorcyclist has been at large and the search is underway, police said.
