Don’t neglect COVID-19 infection: Health Ministry

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has urged one and all not to neglect COVID-19 infection by considering it just a cough.

The Ministry has cautioned not to undermine the coronavirus infections since the symptoms of coronavirus are similar to cough and cold.

The Ministry has asked the general public to conduct the test for coronavirus if an individual has developed the symptoms of fever, cough, sneezing, running nose, headache, sore throat, loss of smell and tiredness.

In recent past days, the number of Covid-19 patients has sharply increased after the surge in coronavirus infection in neighboring India’s Uttar Pradesh.

Currently, the country has 78 active cases of the virus.

Likewise, the Ministry of Health and Population has also urged all to receive booster dose for the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic.
