KATHMANDU: Lalitpur City FC secured a spot in the final of the Nepal Super League (NSL) after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Pokhara Thunders in a semi-final match played this evening at Dashrath Stadium.
Despite being reduced to 10 players due to a red card, Lalitpur City FC managed to overcome Pokhara Thunders in additional time, with the score tied at 1-1 after the allocated 90 minutes.
The NSL final is scheduled to take place on Saturday, featuring a face-off between Lalitpur City FC and Dhangadhi FC.
The victorious team in the league will be awarded Rs seven million rupees, while the runner-up will receive two million rupees.
