Landslides, floods obstruct four highways



KATHMANDU: Four highways have been obstructed due to floods and landslides.

The Department of Roads stated that 48 places are operating one way due to landslides.

According to the Department, the road connecting Tansen-Ridi-Korala has been obstructed at Naunibagar and Guithe in Myagdi district.

The road connecting Chatara-Mulghat-Majhitar-Amarapurdanda-Ganeshchowk under the Tamor Corridor has been obstructed at Hewakhola in Majhitar of Panchthar district.

The Pasang Lhamu Highway connecting Balaju-Trishuli-Dhunche-Safrubesi is also blocked at Nigale in Nuwakot.

Pushpalal Mid-hill Highway is also blocked at Berkhetar in Khotang.
