HoR: PM Dahal to respond to MP’s queries on budget today



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda is scheduled to respond to queries raised by lawmakers of the House of Representatives (HoR) on the Appropriation Bill 2023/24 today.

The meeting of the HoR is taking place at 11 am at the Federal Parliament Building, New Baneswar on Wednesday.

The discussion on the Appropriation Bill will continue in Wednesday’s meeting as well.

Meanwhile, the concerned ministers will also respond to lawmakers’ queries on the allocated budget to the offices of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers; the Office of the Vice President, and the National Planning Commission, among others.

In Tuesday’s meeting, concerned ministers of the Minister of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation; Ministry of Finance; the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology; Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs; and the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development’s Appropriation Bill 2080 responded to the queries raised by the MPs under various headings.
