Gandaki Chief Minister Pandey taking oath today



POKHARA: Surendra Raj Pandey, the newly-appointed Chief Minister of Gandaki Province, is taking oath of office today.

Pandey will take oath from the Chief Minister Prithviman Gurung today afternoon.

However, CM Pandey has not been able to appoint any minister as of now due to power tussle among the ruling parties.

Nepali Congress and the Maoist Center are insisting that they should get more number of ministries.

Nepal Samajwadi Party led by Baburam Bhattarai and Unified Socialist Paryt led by Madhav Kumar Nepal have also demanded one ministry each.

Pandey was appointed as the Chief Minister on Thursday with the support of Nepali Congress, Maoist Center and Unified Socialist Party.
