KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) has proposed veteran film director and actor Neer Bikram Shah as a candidate for the National Assembly member.
Around 90 names were proposed for the National Assembly member candidacy in the NC Bagmati Province Committee until Tuesday. On the final day, Shah’s name was added to the list. Bagmati Province has recommended 91 individuals, including Shah.
The National Assembly elections are scheduled for January 25. The candidate registration deadline is on January 8.
