Swift license service for Nepali nationals heading abroad

Transport Department claims to provide the license within three days

KATHMANDU: In a significant move, Nepali nationals planning to go abroad for employment, studies, or peacekeeping duties will now experience a rapid and efficient license acquisition process within three days.

According to the Transport Management Department, starting from December 31, individuals seeking a driving license for these purposes can conveniently apply through applydinew.dptm.gov.np.

The streamlined process aims to provide applicants with a smart license within just three days from the submission of their application.

The department has set up help desks to facilitate the quick acquisition of these licenses. As part of the application process, applicants are required to carry the original documents initially uploaded and a copy of the online application.
