KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Deputy General Secretary Pradeep Gyawali engaged in a meeting today with Vice Minister Sun Haiyan of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China in Beijing.
The meeting delved into discussions regarding various aspects of the enduring and cordial relationship between the two parties. Deputy Minister Sun highlighted his belief in the significance of crucial agreements signed between the two countries during UML chairman KP Oli’s tenure as Prime Minister.
Former Foreign Minister Gyawali emphasized the elevation of Nepal and China’s relationship to a strategic partnership, reaffirming his party’s dedication to implementing prior agreements.
The meeting also witnessed the participation of UML central committee member Bishnu Rijal and officials from the Chinese Communist Party.
