JSP’s Statute Convention to conclude today



KATHMANDU: The Statute Convention of Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP), which commenced on Sunday, is set to conclude today.

During today’s session, JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav, along with other key party leaders, will address the concerns and questions raised by fellow party members during the group discussion on the party statute draft.

On Monday, the participants extensively deliberated on the draft statute presented by Chairman Yadav.

Manish Suman, a JSP leader, stated that after Yadav’s response, the intention is to approve the statute with necessary amendments.

As per the proposed statute, certain provisions have been introduced, including an age limit of 70 years.

Approximately 800 representatives, including 420 central members, are actively participating in the discussions regarding the draft statute.
