SC refuses to register petition seeking cancellation of People’s War Day holiday



KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court Administration has refused to register the petition filed against the government’s decision to grant a public holiday on the occasion of People’s War Day.

Advocates including Kalyan Budhathoki of Ramechhap Manthali had tried to register the writ demanding the annulation of the government’s decision to grant a public holiday on the ‘People’s War Day.
The writ was refused registration by the order of Supreme Court Registrar Narayan Prasad Panthi.
