Tharu Commission submits report to Bagmati Province Chief



HETAUDA: The Annual Report of the Tharu Commission has been presented to Bagmati Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma.

Commission Chairperson Bishnu Chaudhary handed the Report to the Province Chief amidst a program today.

Chaudhary said that the Annual Report prepared by incorporating the works carried out by the Commission in the fiscal year 2022/23 has been submitted to the Province Chief in accordance with Article 249 (3) of the Constitution of Nepal.

On the occasion, Province Chief Sharma lauded the works carried out by the Commission and expressed his commitment to extending support to activities to be done through the Commission for the uplift of the Tharu community in the coming days.

The Report includes topics like the problems of the Tharu community, its uplift, and challenges as well as the works carried out by the Commission.
