Four DIGs recommended for promotion to AIGs



KATHMANDU: Four Deputy Inspector Generals (DIG) of Nepal Police have been recommended for promotion to the post of Additional Inspector General (AIG).

A meeting of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Promotion Committee today recommended the name of DIGs Sandip Bhandari, Sudip Giri, Meera Chaudhary and Tek Bahadur Tamang for the promotion.

Member-Secretary of the Promotion Committee and Inspector General of Police, Basanta Bahadur Kunwar, said the four DIGs have been recommended for promotion in accordance with Rule 27 (4) of the Police Regulations, 2071 BS (Along with Amendment).
