RSP postpones scheduled programs, urges all to show moderation

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has requested the members and well-wishers of the party to exercise restraint in the latest situation that arose after the termination of the post of party chairman Rabi Lamichhane.

Issuing a press statement on Friday evening, RSP general secretary and spokesperson Mukul Dhakal urged all to show patience till further programs are announced by the party.

Earlier, giving its verdict after hearing on the writ related to the citizenship dispute, the Constitutional Bench at the Supreme Court annulled his status of lawmaker on Friday.

Lamichhane has already tendered his resignation from the post of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister following the SC verdict and has said that he would respect the SC verdict.
