Nepal sees six new coronavirus cases in 24 hours, active cases 18



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded six new cases of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Friday.

All the confirmed cases were detected through the RT-PCR method.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 150 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.

All 150 cases were tested through the RT-PCR method.

Currently, there are 18 active cases in the country as two infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.

No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
