KATHMANDU: The prevailing western wind in the country is currently within normal parameters, the Weather Forecasting Division has said.
According to the Division, the current weather in the hilly areas of the country, including Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Lumbini provinces, is almost clear.
This afternoon, the forecast suggests partly cloudy to normal weather in the hilly areas of Sudurpaschim and Karnali provinces.
Additionally, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy to clear in the remaining hilly and terai regions.
There is also a likelihood of light snowfall in some high hills and mountainous areas.
The Division further stated that the sky in the hilly areas of Sudurpaschim, Karnali, and Gandaki provinces is expected to be partly cloudy to clear tonight.
