Govt poised to complete its full term: NC leader Koirala

BIRATNAGAR: Dr Shekhar Koirala, leader of the Nepali Congress, has emphasized the necessity of eradicating corruption and impunity for effective governance in the nation.

During a greeting exchange event in Biratnagar on Thursday, Koirala asserted that the Koshi Province government would not significantly impact the central alliance.

He maintained that the ongoing coalition government is poised to endure for its entire term, underscoring the importance of unity within the party.

Additionally, he pointed to political parties and leaders in Nepal as responsible for the prevalent poverty in the country.

As a central member, Koirala put forth the argument that political instability is the primary cause for the developmental lag experienced by the Koshi Province.

He recommended that their role is pivotal in upholding social cohesion and harmony.

Koirala affirmed, “The Nepali Congress offers opportunities and safeguards to leaders and members who transition from other political parties to the Nepali Congress.”
