KATHMANDU: Upendra Yadav, the Chairman of the Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal, has embarked on a visit to India.
Sources within the party have revealed that Yadav’s journey will take him to Kerala via Delhi, where he will participate in a marriage ceremony scheduled to take place in Kochi, Kerala, India.
Although the event is labeled as a wedding, it is widely speculated to encompass political dimensions as well.
During his time in Delhi, Yadav is scheduled to convene a high-level meeting.
In a separate development, Dr. CK Raut, Chairman of the Janamat Party, has returned to Kathmandu following his trip to Delhi.
As tensions between the Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ government and JSP Chair Yadav escalate, the recent reopening of the Gaur incident case has further strained their relationship.
Yadav’s visit to Delhi, at a juncture when the schism between JSP and the government is deepening, is being regarded with particular significance.
