RSP urges fair investigation into illegal Gold Smuggling Case

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has raised urgent public importance in the House of Representatives, demanding a thorough investigation into the illegal gold smuggling case.

According to RSP lawmaker Mahish Jha, the party has filed a resolution seeking clarification and fairness in the investigation process.

Jha pointed out the concerning question of how such a significant amount of gold passed through customs unnoticed, leading the party to submit a proposal for an immediate and impartial inquiry.

Notably, the RSP has chosen to prioritize a call for investigation over demanding the resignation of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Minister of Finance, demonstrating their commitment to supporting the democratic system in addressing this issue.
