Maoist Center delegation holds talks with CCP leaders in Beijing



KATHMANDU: A delegation of the Maoist Center led by leader Agni Sapkota met with Chinese Communist Party (CPC) Foreign Department Head Liu Jianchao in Beijing.

The delegation led by Sapkota, who is also the former speaker, and the CPC representatives held discussions on various issues.

Meanwhile, Sapkota and Liu also held one-on-one talks.

Sapkota’s Secretariat said that the two discussed strengthening the relationship between the two countries, among other issues.

In the meeting, Liu expressed his commitment that China will continue to support the development and prosperity of the Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda-led government.

A 20-member Maoist delegation led by Sapkota is in China. They are scheduled to return home on June 1.
