KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and CPN-UML Chairman KP Oli held talks at the former’s residence in Baluwatar on Thursday morning.
The two leaders discussed current political developments, including the election of the President.
While the CPN-UML has been firm to its stance on giving its candidacy for the post of the President, Nepali Congress (NC), too, has been lobbying for the top ceremonial post.
The Election Commission, however, is yet to fix the date for the election.
The NC, meanwhile, has been demanding that the President’s election should be held by March 13.
