Minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley inches upwards

KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Valley experienced a slight rise in its minimum temperature today compared to yesterday, as reported by Meteorologist Ganga Nagarkoti from the Weather Forecast Division.

At 6:45 am, the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley measured 6 degrees Celsius, marking an increase of 1.1 degrees Celsius from the previous day’s 4.9 degrees Celsius.

Meteorologists anticipate a slight decrease from the morning’s measurement.

According to Nagarkoti, night-time cloud cover influences the morning temperatures.

Cloudy nights tend to result in higher minimum temperatures in the morning, while clear skies lead to lower temperatures.

Presently, the weather in Kathmandu Valley is described as partly cloudy to generally clear.

Nagarkoti expects a mild morning breeze in the valley, dissipating as the sun rises.

“The weather in Kathmandu Valley is anticipated to be partly cloudy to generally clear this afternoon,” Nagarkoti stated indicating that despite a few clouds, sunshine will prevail.
