KATHMANDU: The Pashupati Area Development Trust has dismissed speculations regarding the permission granted for the construction of a Pashupatinath Temple in Uttarakhand, India.

The trust categorically refuted news reports circulating in various Indian and local media outlets that suggested India had obtained approval to build the temple. In a press statement, the trust expressed deep concern, emphasizing that no decision or permission has been granted for the construction of the Pashupatinath Temple in Uttarakhand, India.

Furthermore, the trust affirmed its commitment to refraining from any actions that could have a detrimental impact on national dignity.
