Dharan Mayor Harka Sampang urges restraint and sensitivity amidst rising tensions



DHARAN: In light of recent religious and social disputes causing heightened tensions in the area, Dharan Sub-Metropolitan City Harka Sampang issued a heartfelt appeal to residents to exercise restraint and sensitivity.

Mayor Rai expressed concern over the escalating sensitivity of the region due to ongoing disputes, emphasizing the need for a balanced and considerate approach during these challenging times.

“The current environment demands that we all exercise restraint and display sensitivity towards the sentiments of every party, community, and citizen. I sincerely urge all citizens of Dharan to uphold mutual harmony, brotherhood, and unity,” he said.

Highlighting the importance of turning diversity into a positive force, Mayor Rai called upon the community to channel the negativity surrounding these differences into constructive dialogue.

He warned against allowing unrest and division to permeate into various aspects of society, leading to escalated conflicts, opposition, and hostility.
