Local levels unveiling budget today



KATHMANDU: Local governments across the country are unveiling their budgets today.

All local levels of the country are announcing the budget for the fiscal year 2080/81 BS.

According to the Local Government Operation Act, the revenue and expenditure estimates for the financial year must be published by Asar 10 every year.

Earlier, 10 local levels have already unveiled their budget.

Two local levels in Koshi Province, one in Madhesh Province, one in Bagmati Province, four in Gandaki Province, and two in Sudurpaschim Province have unveiled their budget, according to the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.
