Two die in lightning strike



BAGLUNG: Two children died after being struck by lightning in Baglung.

The incident took place last night when lightning struck the house of Chitra Bahadur BK in Pakhapani of Dhorpatan Municipality-5.

BK’s six-year-old son Dinesh and nine-year-old daughter Sunita died in the strike.

Chitra Bahadur’s wife Yam Kumari BK was injured in the incident, according to Deputy Superintendent of Police Madan KC.

A buffalo at a shed near the house was also killed by the lightning. Yam Kumari is undergoing treatment at the local hospital.
