Ambassador Sharma holds meeting with Indian Foreign Minister



KATHMANDU: Nepal’s Ambassador to India, Dr. Shankar Sharma, held a meeting with the Indian Foreign Minister, S. Jaishankar, on Thursday.

During the meeting, which took place at Foreign Minister Jaishankar’s office in New Delhi, Ambassador Sharma and India’s Foreign Minister discussed the upcoming visit of Nepal’s Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” to India.

Prime Minister Dahal is visiting India next week.

He is preparing to embark on a four-day visit to India on May 31.

During the meeting, Ambassador Sharma mentioned that both of them expressed their desire and commitment to deepen and strengthen Nepal-India relations in the future.
