4 people killed in Rukum West jeep accident



RUKUM WEST: Four people died on the spot and 10 others were injured in a jeep accident that occurred at Bamphifot Rural Municipality of the district this morning.

The jeep (Lu 1 Ja 1747), carrying 14 passengers, heading toward Khalanga from Sanibheri Rural Municipality- 5 met with an accident at Motikhola on Thursday morning, police said.

Deuchan Khatri, Karna Bahadur Batha, Rekha Khatri, and her son died on the spot.

The injured were rescued and sent for treatment.

Police said that the complete details of the accident are yet to come.

It is said that the jeep fell about 400 meters down the road.
