PM Dahal preparing to embark on four-day India visit on May 31



KATHMANDU: If everything goes according to the plan, Prime Minister (PM) Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” will embark on a four-day visit to India on May 31.

According to sources, Prime Minister Dahal’s visit to India has been scheduled from May 31 to June 3 in consultation with the officials of both countries.

However, the date of the visit has not been officially announced.

The government will issue a press statement on Friday or Saturday, the source close to the Prime Minister, said.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is preparing to issue a press statement informing inform about Prime Minister Dahal’s visit to India.

An official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also said it was almost certain that Prime Minister Dahal will visit India from May 31.

According to sources, Prime Minister Dahal is also scheduled to meet with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi in New Delhi.

He is also scheduled to meet Indian President Draupadi Murmu.

Prime Minister Dahal is also scheduled to visit Mumbai and return to the country on June 3.
