ACC Men’s Premier Cup: Malaysia beat Qatar by 3 wickets



KATHMANDU: Malaysia beat Qatar by 3 wickets in ACC Men’s Premier Cup Cricket undergoing in Kathmandu on Tuesday.

Malaysia met the target of 216 runs in 34 overs at the loss of 7 wickets.
Ajith scored 80 runs for Malaysia.

Mohammad Nadeem of Qatar took 2 wickets.

Earlier, Qatar won the toss and batted first in the scheduled 35 overs and scored 215 runs at the loss of 7 wickets.

Imal Niange played an inning of 56 runs.

Mohammad Wafiq of Malaysia took two wickets and Rizwan Haider took two wickets.

Due to rain, the 50-over match was shortened to 35 overs today.

With this victory, Malaysia has four points from four games and has maintained the possibility of the semi-finals.

Qatar has been eliminated after losing three matches.
