Govt to issue entry pass for entering into Singha Durbar



KATHMANDU: The government is preparing to issue an entry pass with a photo on it and a certain timeline for the entry of the visitors into the Singha Durbar, the main administrative center in the country.

The Central Monitoring and Assessment Committee has directed the Home Ministry to prepare for the central entry pass distribution provision.

A meeting of the Committee held under the chair of Chief Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi directed the Home Secretary, Binod Prakash Singh, to distribute the computer-based central entry pass having a photograph and a certain timeline on it.

The meeting has also directed the home ministry to make provisions for entry and exit of officials from other entrance gates except the western one of the Singhadurbar.
