Nepal set 344 runs target to Kuwait

KATHMANDU: Nepal has given a huge target of 344 runs to Kuwait as part of the ICC U-19 World Cup Asia Qualifier.

Nepal has given a huge target to Kuwait with the record centuries of captain Dev Khanal and young batsman Arjun Kumal.

After winning the toss at the Malek Cricket Ground, Nepal started batting first and scored 343 runs losing 7 wickets in the scheduled 50 overs.

Captain Khanal and Arjun Kumal played an excellent century innings to lead Nepal to a huge total. This is the first time two Nepali batsmen scored centuries in the same innings.

Captain Khanal scored 125 runs off 117 balls with 9 fours and 3 sixes. This is his first career century.

On the other hand, Arjun also scored 180 runs in 112 balls with 12 fours. This is also the first century of Arjun’s career. Arjun scored his century in 107 balls.

Earlier, Nepal beat Singapore by 76 runs on Friday.
