Tiger attack kills one in Makawanpur



HETAUDA: A man has lost his life in a tiger attack in Makawanpur.

Hari Paudel from Chitwan fell victim to a fatal tiger attack near Manhari Rural Municipality-6 Khairghari on Friday morning, as confirmed by the police.

The 43-year-old, hailing from Rapti-1 Dubichour, Chitwan, was attacked while cutting straw at the confluence, situated approximately two kilometers south of Manhari-6 Khairghari village, nestled between the Rapti and Lothar rivers.

Makwanpur police spokesperson DSP Laxmi Bhandari reported that Paudel succumbed to the attack on the spot.

Bhandari further informed that upon receiving news of the incident, a dedicated team, led by a police inspector from the area police office in Manhari, was swiftly deployed for investigation and rescue operations.
