U-19 SAFF Championship: Nepal taking on the Maldives tomorrow



KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on the Maldives on Monday in the U19 SAFF Championship football tournament underway in Kathmandu.

The winning team will reach the semifinals of the tournament.

In the first match played on Friday, Nepal was defeated by Pakistan 1-0.

Pakistan has reached the semifinal with a 1-1 draw against the Maldives played at the Dasharath Stadium in Tripureshwor on Saturday.

Placed into Group A’, Pakistan has made it to the semifinal with four points in two matches.

Nepal is placed into Group ‘A’ along with Pakistan and the Maldives.

Pakistan has collected four points from two matches and the Maldives one point from one match.

Nepal has not collected any points so far.
