KATHMANDU: Nepali security officials deputed as the United Nations peacekeepers in conflict-ridden Sudan are reported to be safe.

Two officials of the Nepali Army, three of the Nepal Police and one of the Armed Police Force have been sent to Sudan as peacekeepers, and they all are safe, according to NA Spokesperson Krishna Prasad Bhandari.
