All-party meeting underway in Chitwan-2

KATHMANDU: An all-party meeting is underway in Chitwan-2.

The counting of votes will begin only after the meeting reaches a decision, according to Electoral Officer Ishwar Acharya.

The vote counting was delayed after the Nepali Congress (NC) insisted that Rastriya Swatantra Party candidate Rabi Lamichhane and Chitwan District Chief Officer violated the election code of conduct on Sunday.

The NC has earlier insisted that it would not participate in the counting of votes until its complaint was addressed.
