KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded one new case of coronavirus in the past 24 hours as of Friday.
The confirmed case were detected through the RT-PCR method.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 711 swab samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
Out of the cases tested today, 77 were tested through RT-PCR method and 634 through Antigen method.
Currently, there are eight active cases in the country as four infected patients recovered in the past 24 hours.
No coronavirus-related death was recorded in the past 24 hours, and the COVID-19 death toll stands at 12,020 to date.
